Vishal Bharadwaj cast Shraddha Kapoor in Haider for her ‘Kashmiri’ eyes

It was Shraddha Kapoor's eyes that caught Vishal Bhardwaj's attention when he was casting for Haider.

The director felt that her eyes were similar to those of Kashmiris and hence she would be perfect for the film, which is set in the Valley.
